Practice social distancing and  help keep our waterways clean! To kick off Earth Month, we're launching a Virtual Cleanup Campaign by encouraging folks to incorporate a trash pick up during their routine walks, runs, bike rides, etc! To participate, bring a pair of gloves and bag with you on your next outing (we recommend doubled up paper bags), take a selfie or picture of the trash you collect, post it on your Instagram or Instagram story, and tag @PugetSoundkeeper with the hashtag #PSKVirtualCleanup.

We’ll repost everyone's solo cleanups on our story to inspire a virtual community of cleanup heros!

Here are a few example posts to help inspire you:

Wishing you could do more to protect the health of our waterways? Join Puget Soundkeeper as a member for as little as $5 a month!

Despite the physical distance between us all, we can still connect as a community and show our love for Puget Sound. We’re all in this together!

P.S. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS IN GROUPS. If you’re with another person, make sure social distancing (6 feet apart) is maintained. Also, please wear gloves and wash your hands (for 20 seconds) afterwards.
